Alan sensed a call to ministry while on a missions trip when he was 17. He then attended and graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center. Upon graduation, he returned to his home church in Twin Falls, Idaho to serve in the youth ministry. Alan was then on staff at Life Church from its inception in 2001 until August of 2010. He has served as the Youth Pastor and has fulfilled many supportive roles in the Church. His ministry has included preaching on missions trips, ministering at Youth and Children’s camps, and instructing in Bible Schools. Upon resigning Life Church he launched Addicted to Jesus, International in January 2011 with a heart to reach the lost in some of the most unreached places of the world.
He currently lives in Riverside, California with his wife, Jennifer, and children. He is soon to finish his Bachelor's degree in business and
will continue onto his Master's in leadership as
they prepare for full-time overseas ministry.
Rex currently resides in Oklahoma and is "retired" from full-time ministry, yet continues in ministry to his kids and those beatutiful GRANDKIDS! He served as Missions Pastor at Amazing Grace Fellowhsip in Twin Falls, ID. He has served there for 13 years wearing many hats but primarily served as missions director. Rex has been in full-time ministry for 31 years. He is a 1978 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, OK. He and his family spent their first three years of ministry as missionaries in Oaxaca, Oaxaca, Mexico in pastoral ministry under the leadership of a national pastor there. Rex has been privileged to take numerous trips to the Philippines and Bulgaria. Though he is called to pastor, missions is a large part of his ministry passion.
President's Note: Pastor Rex is a mighty man of God, full of the wisdom and character of Christ. I'm honored to have him serving on our board.
Jennifer has loved the Lord with all her heart since she was a child. She has served in many capacities in local churches with a real heart and emphasis on worship leading and ministry to children. She graduated from the Life Church School of Ministry in 2008 and has been instrumental in helping in the ministry endeavors her husband is called to. She married a missionary disquised as a Youth Pastor, but knew very well Addicted to Jesus, International was a part of her future.
She's a wonderful mother to three boys, Ethan, Lincoln, and Jackson. (God help her!)
President's Note: I'm so glad to be serving the Lord with the support and love of my beautiful wife. I found a good wife, and obtained favor from the Lord! =)
Carl was born and raised in Boise, Idaho with his ten brothers and sisters, by parents who really believed in the Bible verse: “be fruitful and multiply.” He considers himself lucky to be alive since he is the 9th child; Carl thinks he should probably thank his parents more for not stopping at eight kids. Since giving his life to the Lord at the age of 10, he has been seeking after God’s will, and plan for his life. In September of 2001 he started going to Life Church with his family, and has been attending there regularly ever since. Carl serves in a variety of areas at Life Church. He has served on various worship teams, in the youth ministry, and other helps capacities. He continues to serve at Life Church and is actively seeking God's direction. God is leading him into a career in the business world where God will use him to do great things for the kingdom.
He is a graduate of Boise State University, holding a Bachelors in Business Administration. Carl is employed at Scentsy and enjoys a variety of things including: piano, bass guitar, outdoor activities, reading, and hanging out with his friends.
He was married in 2014 and lives in Merdidian with his wife Mandy. Carl is excited for his future and where the Lord is taking him.
President's Note: Carl has been a huge blessing over the years as he served in leadership capacities in our Youth Minsitry. I've seen him grow into a wonderfully commited servant of God with a heart to see God's work accomplished in the earth. I'm glad he's on the board to help us fulfill the vision.
